“Plumas Negras” (“Black Feathers”) is a bilingual, Spanish-English play depicting three generations of women in East Salinas, California. “Plumas Negras” employs elements of magical realism to tell the story of the Mexican American family, such as a pair of crows who act as narrators. The play tackles themes of discrimination, trauma, and family bonds as it explores the story of three women. 

February 26, 27 & March 5, 6 @ 7:30pm

February 28 & March 7 @ 2pm

 

This production runs 2 hours with one 10 minute intermission.
