Pokémon Traders of Ocala was founded by Luis Winstead, a lifelong Pokémon collector with a passion for bringing the hobby and its community together. Having collected since childhood, Luis always envisioned creating an event where collectors, vendors, local card shops, artists, and families could gather under one roof to celebrate their shared love of trading cards.
That vision led to the creation of Pokémon Traders of Ocala, a community that has grown to over 1,000 local members dedicated to buying, selling, trading, and supporting one another within the hobby.
The Pokémon Traders of Ocala Show was created to provide a welcoming, family-friendly event that showcases great vendors, connects collectors of all experience levels, and helps strengthen the local trading card community. While Pokémon is at the heart of the event, collectors and vendors of other trading card games are welcomed as well, making it a place for the entire TCG community to come together.
The goal is simple: to create an event that people look forward to attending year after year while continuing to grow and support the hobby for generations to come.
