Steady Hand Garden Dinner Club

Join us for an intimate summer evening at Steady Hand Cafe as we transform the shop and our backyard garden into a communal dinner table.

On Sunday, August 2nd, we'll welcome Public Private Chefs, Chef Ayla Ochoa and Chef Jared Castellazzo, for a one-night-only dining experience celebrating late summer in New Jersey. Drawing from years spent cooking in acclaimed New York City restaurants including Atla, Frenchette, Dame, Win Son, and more, they'll present a menu inspired by the flavors of Spain while showcasing the incredible produce that reaches its peak right here in New Jersey this time of year. Their thoughtful approach to food and wine makes them a perfect fit for an evening centered around slowing down, gathering together, and sharing a memorable meal.

Dinner will unfold throughout the cafe, flowing from our cozy dining room into the garden, where August brings overflowing flowers, long golden evenings, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you to linger a little longer.

Your ticket includes:

• Three seasonal courses crafted by Public Private Chefs
• Curated wine pairings with each course

Please note: Seating is communal and intentionally limited to preserve the intimate nature of the evening. We encourage guests to embrace the spirit of gathering around one table, meeting new people, and sharing in the experience together.

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know when purchasing your ticket. While we'll do our best to accommodate requests, some modifications may not be possible due to the nature of the dining experience.

Cancellation Policy

Tickets are fully refundable up to one week before the event. After that date, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds, as ingredients and supplies will have already been purchased specifically for the dinner.

This dinner is designed around the fleeting beauty of late summer. The menu, the flowers, the wine, and the evening light all come together for one night only. We hope you'll join us at the table.
