Whether you’re a stand-up newbie or looking to sharpen your comedic skills, this 6 Week class is designed to help you craft your own unique voice in comedy. Under the expert guidance of Amy Tee, a seasoned comedian with over 20 years experience known for her quick wit and engaging stage presence, you’ll learn the art of joke writing, delivery, and timing.
**What to Expect:**
- **Engaging Lessons:** Dive into the fundamentals of comedy, from structure and timing to stage presence and handling an audience.
- **Personalized Feedback:** Amy will work with you to refine your material and help you build confidence.

COMEDIAN: Amy Tee
Amy is a comedian and motivational speaker who blends her humor with advocacy for mental wellness. She has entertained audiences for over 20 years with her storytelling style, which oscillates between challenging stereotypes and candidly addressing real-life issues. Amy frequently speaks and performs for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and participated in This Is My Brave Boston 2017. Her comedy acts, including her one-woman show "I'm Crazy, Not Stupid," serve as powerful tools for promoting mental health awareness and support. She also taught comedy for 6 years at North Shore Community College.
In her personal life, Amy enjoys quiet moments and small gatherings, cherishing time with her spouse and two dogs. Her journey is marked by 14 years of sobriety, exemplifying that with hard work, self-discovery, and proper support, anyone can achieve happiness and well-being. Amy's life and career are a testament to the transformative power of resilience, kindness, and humor in the face of adversity
