Pottery Building Workshop — What to Expect
Join us for a relaxed, hands-on pottery workshop where you’ll build and paint your own masterpiece using hand-building techniques. No experience needed—this workshop is beginner friendly and focused on creativity and fun.
What’s Included
• Clay, pottery tools, and firing
• Step-by-step instruction
• A variety of colors to paint your mug
• Firing of your finished piece (handled by the instructor)
During the Workshop
• You’ll shape your piece using hand-building (no pottery wheels)
• Add texture, details, and/or a handle
• Paint your piece with your choice of colors
After the Workshop
• Masterpieces will be fired by the instructor and made food-safe
• You’ll be notified when your piece is ready for pickup
• Turnaround time: typically 2–3 weeks (pick up at the workshop location or you may arrange shipping)
Important Details
• Aprons will be provided; clay can be messy
• Space is limited—registration is required in advance
• Please note that all class pieces must be picked up within 3 months of the class date. After 3 months, unclaimed pieces will be donated to make room on the studio shelves.
