We are excited to introduce a new program at the Tucson Auto Museum: Self-defense training., A beginner class offered the third Thursday of each month from 4–5 PM.
This one-hour session focuses on practical, real-world self-defense techniques designed to build confidence, awareness, and resilience.
Instructor Shira Barnhart is certified under Master Tucker and FIMA (Federation of Israeli Martial Arts) and currently teaches at Rising Phoenix in Tucson. With training in traditional Israeli Krav Maga and Kapa, as well as Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, she brings both technical expertise and real-world experience in close quarter combat and personal protection.
Cost: $25 per class, which includes admission to the museum--if you arrive early
