Please join The Preface Project on September 17, 2022 for our 3rd Anniversary Childhood Literacy Benefit Gala, presented by EarthBaby - taking place this year in the Clubhouse at TPC Sugarloaf, a gorgeous venue on the grounds of the PGA Tour's Mitsubishi Electric Classic nestled in our home of Gwinnett County, GA!
Requested Attire is Black Tie Optional. Hors d'oeuvres, a seated three-course meal, live music, dancing, and a premium open bar will be provided.
A Georgia-grown and award-winning national non-profit founded in 2019, Preface's has established innovative multilingual literacy partnerships to foster Equality Through Education and Early Childhood Literacy in 11 states (and growing!) across America, with international outposts in development. Teaming up with institutions, corporations, and educators alike (including with Gwinnett County Public Schools), Preface has been featured by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, NBC (11 Alive), CBS (WDEF-12), Fox (WTAT-24), Business Radio X, the Gwinnett Daily Post, and the Georgia Department of Education - while its leadership has been recognized in 30 Under 30 and 25 Most Influential lists by organizations like YNPN Atlanta and the Georgia Asian Times.
This year, Preface is proud to honor GCPS educators Liliana Trujillo and Sharon Chen as our 2022 Legacy Award Winners!
Additionally, Preface is honored to host virtual and in-person remarks from this year's Official Guests of Honor, including the First Lady of Georgia, Marty Kemp, US Congresswoman Carolyn Bourdeaux, and Gwinnett County Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson.
(Prior honorees and Guests of Honor have included Congresswoman Carolyn Bourdeaux, GCPS Superintendent Calvin Watts, GCPS Assistant Principals Cindy Moffett and Jacqueline Graham, and Mayor William deGolian of Washington, GA.)
All proceeds support the Preface mission of promoting Equality Through Education and Early Childhood Literacy - often with a multilingual twist!
Purely vegetarian entree options, as well as allergy specific customizations, are available upon request.
Tickets are non-refundable and are tax-deductible only in the express amount communicated in the receipt received from the organization, pursuant to IRS regulations.
