Prepping For The Worst: Basic Survival Strategies For Everyone

It can happen here. We wrote about that almost a year ago, Prepping for the Worst:

I no longer view “preppers” as crazy. Maybe they were right, just early. Better early than late.
I don’t plan to be late.

Since then, my conviction that we run a significant risk of systemic failures that will require self-reliance for food, water, and energy supplies has only increased, so we are putting on a virtual event designed to provide expert advice on basic steps that everyone -- from city, to suburban, to rural -- can take if things get worse.

The time for preparing is now, not when everyone is fighting over the last biscuits on the looted-store shelves. Both Kemberlee (hint, chickens) and I (hint, my wife no longer thinks I'm nuts about this) will discuss our own strategies, but most important, we have an expert guest, Lisa Bedford:

Lisa Bedford is better known as The Survival Mom and founder of The Survival Mom blog and online prepping courses. Since 2009, she has encouraged families to adopt a calm and common-sense approach to an uncertain future.

Lisa is also the author of Survival Mom: How to Prepare Your Family for Everyday Disasters and Worst Case Scenarios and Emergency Evacuations: Get Out Fast When It Matters Most, and has been featured in national and international media. Legal Insurrection Foundation – Who We Are

Legal Insurrection Foundation (LIF) is one of the leading free speech investigative and media organizations in the country. The Equal Protection Project (EPP) is a project of the Legal Insurrection Foundation (LIF), was launched in February of 2023. EPP is devoted to the fair treatment of all persons without regard to race or ethnicity. Our guiding principle is that there is no ‘good’ form of racism. The remedy for racism never is more racism. We have filed numerous complaints against entities who openly discriminate against individuals based on race and ethnicity. Our work here has only just begun.

LIF is now recognized as a leader in the parents’ rights movement and has lectured hundreds of state legislators on the problems in education from “woke” indoctrination, and what they can do about it. We are frequent speakers at conferences and in the media on how the harm inflicted through radical ideologies is a threat not only to our students, but to our nation, turning young people against both their parents and their country.
