In this 2-hour workshop, we will provide everything you need to create a beautiful plate: clay, tools, and fresh flowers / botanicals. Each person will make 1 large or 2 small plates and decorate them with colorful underglazes.
Date: Sunday, May 10, 2026
Time: 10:30am-12:30pm
Location: Community Clay RiNo
What to expect:
$95 per person
2 hours of hands-on clay instruction
1-2 finished plates per person included
Treats, mimosas and other refreshments
After the workshop, we will apply clear glaze and have your finished piece(s) ready for pick up in approximately 2-3 weeks. Plates will be microwave and dishwasher safe.
Handbuilding is a traditional method of creating in which you use your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay, not a pottery wheel.
