Beeline Blooms Dahlia Oasis and Honey Bee Haven rose from the ashes of the CZU wildfire to bring joy to our community through beauty and color. We strive to support our community with a personal connection to agriculture with volunteer opportunities and workshops.
Description
Gather & capture the beauty of Summer flowers in this hands-on workshop with Charina from Orchid & Pine Studio.
Charina will share her professional flower-pressing techniques in an in-deptht demonstration. She'll walk us through working with different flowers & foliage to achieve stunning results.
Then we will create a personalized pressed floral craft.
We'll be covering:
• The tools that actually work
What to use, what to skip, and how to set up your pressing kit for real results.
• Timing your harvest
The ideal window to pick flowers so they hold their color and form after pressing.
• Preventing browning
Proven techniques to keep blooms vibrant — not muddy or discolored.
• Getting the best from your press
Pressure, paper choices, layering, and how to troubleshoot what goes wrong
Traditional flower presses will be provided to experiment with during the event, and personal presses will be available for purchase if you'd like to invest in your new craft. You may also bring your own press!
Tickets include:
