Presented by Thetford Academy, this spirited production brings to life Elizabeth Bennet and the enigmatic Mr. Darcy as they navigate society’s expectations, family pressures, and their own stubborn first impressions. Filled with sharp humor, memorable characters, and timeless romance, this fast-paced adaptation honors the elegance and manners of the Regency era while weaving in a fresh, modern twist that makes Austen’s classic story sparkle for today’s audiences.

Thetford Academy, founded in 1819, is Vermont’s oldest secondary school and has been an important part of the Upper Valley’s educational community for over two centuries.
