Pride of the Pack: Teen Paper Mâché Sculpture Camp
Ages 12–16
Join us for a three-day creative adventure where art, self-expression, and community come together.
Inspired by San Francisco's rich history of Pride and the iconic Pink Triangle monument, teen artists will design and build their own unique animal sculpture using paper mâché, recycled materials, paint, and mixed-media embellishments.
Throughout the camp, students will learn:
Basic sculpture and armature-building techniques
Paper mâché construction and finishing methods
Acrylic painting and creative design skills
Ways to express identity, community, and personal interests through art
As we create, we'll explore the history of Pride in San Francisco and participate in fun icebreaker activities designed to encourage creativity, connection, and self-expression.
All art materials are included. Students should bring clothes that can get messy, a water bottle, and a snack.
Student Art Showcase
On the final day, campers will complete their sculptures, create gallery tags, and participate in a mini art exhibit. Each student is invited to bring one guest to view the artwork and celebrate their creative achievements.
No prior art experience required—just imagination, curiosity, and a willingness to create.
