Description

After the October 7 attack, Stephen Wise Free Synagogue established a humanitarian fund to support relief efforts in Israel, distributing funds to critical organizations assisting the survivors of the massacre, the families of those affected, the hundreds of thousands of Israelis displaced from their homes by the war, and many others in urgent need of support.

Join us over a year later to learn about the impact of Stephen Wise's donations on two Reform communities...

With our support, the Megiddo Reform community welcomed and cared for the displaced, while Or Hadash – The Lyons Center for Progressive Judaism in Haifa transformed a shelter into a protected play space, which is now essential as Haifa endures ongoing shelling.

Hear from the leaders of these communities as they share their efforts to strengthen their communities, the challenges they face, their successes and their hopeful vision for the future.
