We are thrilled to honor Lael Locke with the 2026 PS21 Polestar Award, presented each year to catalytic and visionary changemakers in the cultural life of the Hudson Valley. A longtime Chatham philanthropist, civic leader, elected official, publisher, and advocate, Lael is a pillar of our community, whose many chapters of service have been carried out with grace, generosity, and humility.
The celebration will feature cocktails in the meadow, a farm-to-table dinner in the PS21 Pavilion Theater, performances from special guest artists, a live auction with international auctioneer Jacqueline Towers-Perkins, an after party, and more.
The Gala provides essential funding for PS21’s adventurous year-round programming—from our summer season to our winter festival and beyond—all at more affordable ticket prices than ever. Thank you for your support.
