Description

Join comedian and longtime Brooks resident Chris Quimby for a night of stand-up that hits close to home—literally. In "PUBLIC HEARING: A Comedy Routine", Chris brings his sharp wit and personal perspective to the absurd, hilarious, and all-too-familiar world of small-town government, civic drama, and the quirks of life in rural Maine.

From behind the scenes of the Planning Board to the front lines of public comment chaos, no part of the local experience is off limits. But this isn’t just for town hall junkies—Chris weaves in the universal awkwardness, frustrations, and joys that make us all human.

Whether you’ve seethed at the activities of town government or was blissfully unaware while binging Netflix, this is your chance to laugh at the process—and maybe at yourself, too.

Local. Honest. Funny.
Let the hearing begin.

Come see the show where the laughs are smart, the content is clean*, and the mic is finally back in the right hands.

Same show, two nights:
Friday, Sept 5 or Saturday, Sept 6 at 7:00 PM. [$20.00 advance / $25.00 at the door]

Doors open at 6:30 PM. Seating is first-come, first-served.

[Performances do not include common vulgarities, but there will likely be grown-up themes. Shows run best without distraction - please find a sitter for your young children.]
