We are pleased to welcome Dr. Julie Spaniel this Thursday, January 15, 2026 as she presents "Purpose-Driven Travel, Beyond the Safari ": One World Brigades, Service and Safari trips.
Dr. Julie Spaniel, DDS is a private-practice dentist, nonprofit founder, and respected leader in organized dentistry. She is the Founder and Executive Director of One World Brigades, a 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization, and Founder of One World Brigades Kenya, an in-country NGO advancing sustainable healthcare and education in East Africa.
Dr. Spaniel is the President-Elect of the Oregon Dental Association, President of the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry, and serves in leadership roles within the American Dental Association, including work in council and communications. With more than 35 years of global mission experience, she launched One World Brigades to create long-term, community-driven solutions beyond episodic care.
Today, One World Brigades operates an elementary school in the Maasai Mara and is actively constructing a primary healthcare center outside Nakuru, Kenya, expanding access to medical and dental care while supporting education, local partnership, and sustainable impact.
