Let's face it: everyone likes to be the first to know about something special - introducing QB SUPPER CLUB! QB Gelato offers a unique fine-dining experience like no other; a multi-course pre-fixe menu where we pair food matched with savoury gelato and/or sorbet and the best Okanagan wines. All served up here at QB Gelato. Owners, Victor and Kevin have created a casual, relaxed atmosphere in which to try interesting food and meet new people at our communal table. The prix-fixe menu remains a secret until the evening of the dinner.

QB Supper Club concept

Eight guests will enjoy a prix-fixe dinner where each course has been artfully crafted to include a SAVOURY gelato and/or sorbet and paired with a wine which will harmonize with the flavours of each dish. As each course is presented, Victor will share with you the inspiration behind the dish and why the wine was chosen.

Where did the inspiration for QB Supper Club come from We love food as much as we love gelato. We also love wine, especially when intentionally paired with a meal. In the fall of 2018, over a QB Affogato, Victor and Eric von Krosigk, Frind Estate Wines Winemaker got on the topic of SAVOURY Gelato and the pairing of food. The result: our sold-out “Sparkle” dinner in December of 2018; where each food course was paired with an Okanagan sparkling wine. The success of "Sparkle" inspired QB "Supper Club". 

Book your ticket(s) early as seating at our communal long table is limited to eight (8) guests per night. Gather a group of friends and purchase the entire table for a unique dinner party.  

FAQs:

What are your COVID protocols for the dinners?  QB will have in place all COVID-19 protocols required by the Provincial Health Office and Interior Health. In addition, since seating arrangements for our Supper Club nights are at a communal table, we are requiring our dinner guests be fully vaccinated (both vaccines). It is a priority of Kevin, Victor and the QB team to ensure the health of our guests and staff. We are a small business that has been significantly impacted by the pandemic the past 17 months and wish to continue to be able to create brightly imaginative food for our community. For those who choose not to vaccinate, we hope you remain healthy and look forward to having you join us for a Supper Club experience once COVID-19 is no longer. 

Is there a minimum age requirement to attend the event? 19+ **Please drink responsibly and arrange for a designated driver or use a taxi service. 

What are my parking options for the event? Parking is available across the street in the Landmark 2 Visitor Parking lot {although the signage indicates 2-hour parking - you are fine to park longer after 6pm}. However, we recommend you arrange for a designated driver or use a taxi service.

What is the refund policy if plans change or I am unexpectedly unable to make it? Due to the limited number of seats cancellations are non-refundable. We understand 'life' happens and there may be times when you need to change plans last minute and are unable to make a confirmed booking. We will do our best to work with you to find a replacement, however we can cannot guarantee this. Tickets are transferable. Should the venue cancel the event - refunds will be issued or you may transfer your reservation to alternative dates.

What's on the menu? The menu is a prix-fixe dinner, typically five or six courses. Each course is paired with wine from a local Okanagan winery. The menu is not shared in advance. Please be aware, due to the nature of the dinner we are not typically able to accommodate dietary restrictions. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance {please call us a minimum of 7-days in advance - night of restrictions cannot be accommodated and refunds will not be issued.}.

Can I book an entire table? YES! You can either click on the number of guests and request all 8 seats or please give us a call or email and we would be more than happy to set this up for you and your group of friends. We also accommodate Corporate bookings.  Please note, should you wish to book the entire table but do not have 8 people - you must choose the option of ALL 8 seats to reserve the space exclusively - please note, there is no discount.

QB Gelato Has a Secret

Kelowna’s local favourite gelato shop has a tasty secret. QB Gelato & Bakery creators, Victor Laderoute and Kevin Bojda, are food and drink event innovators on top of being super palate pleasers. Besides being the go-to gelato shop, they offer delicious coffee, lunch options (pizza tiles / pizza al trancio), cooking classes and now, Supper Club events! 

 

Gelato Made the Old-World Way

They learned their craft at a premiere Gelato University located in Bologna, in the historic Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. You can taste the care that goes into their slow churned, fine-tuned, small batch gelato and sorbet with a focus on local and fresh ingredients. 

QB’s gelato is out of this world and has an ever-evolving spectrum of flavour options. Victor is the gelato master, making everything by hand, and is literally a wizard of creativity. Kevin has a gift for pairing and matches gelato flavours to create a party in your mouth.

Located in the Landmark District of Kelowna since 2017, they have won The Best of Kelowna: Gelato category, four years running.

 

Supper Club Surprise

QB wanted to bring even more taste sensations to their customers; thus the Supper Club was created. It is available only on select nights throughout the year with a menu and pairings that will astound you. They work with local winemakers to match courses with exceptional wines at their table of supper clubbers. 

This style of dining experience is perfect for a growing community as it promotes meeting new people with similar interests. It’s fine dining that is approachable; hosted in a relaxed and unique setting. 

Keeping in line with local COVID protocols, QB is stepping up with a full series of Supper Clubs, beginning in late September and running through to the beginning of December.  They even have a vegan dinner week!
