Description
The first of our two-part opening receptions for our newest exhibit, "Quantum Sensation", features filmmaker and visual artist Josh Berkowitz. (Please register so we can get a proper headcount for preparation.) Josh is known for infusing his film influences into his artwork. He plays homage to films that have influenced his self-evolution as an experimental film creator, actor and writer by adding collaged clips of movie stills from influential films into his acrylic paint, collage and mixed-media artwork. There is a definite similarity between the rhythm and cadence of his films and his artwork. We are elated to host Josh as our artist in residence for our bi-weekly performance art workshop. Josh holds his visual art studio at SassaBird Fine Art. Enjoy Josh's films and artwork at this exhibit opening!
