Join us at the Rook on Friday, September 20th for our annual Queer Prom celebration! The MSVUSU Pride Centre and the Rook is pleased to invite you to an unforgettable night of dancing at the most vibrant party of the season! Queer Prom is a celebration of diversity, community and love, and we chose this year's theme, "Night at the Disco" as a reflection of Disco's deep roots in queer culture.
We're committed to ensuring this event is a safe and inclusive space for all. There is no dress code for this event, you can dress "up" or "down" as you please! If you need help finding affirmative clothing for this event, please contact the Pride Centre.
This event is open to MSVU Students of all ages and any non-MSVU students must be signed in by an MSVU student at the door. All MSVU students in attendance are required to provide their student ID card at the door.
Attendees are welcome to order from the Rook's delicious selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and purchases can be made at the bar with cash or card. Attendees who are under the age of 19 are not permitted to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages, but are welcome to enjoy one of the Rook's refreshing mocktails! Attendees who are 19+ and wish to order or consume alcoholic beverages must be able to provide a valid government photo ID that confirms their age.
