Description
Brief introduction to block printmaking using soft-cut linoleum on a small scale of 4 x 4 inches. Students will be led through a series of steps and learn safe carving practices, how to print to achieve a perfect print, how to do a ‘mash up’, and experiment with the assorted colors available and use their carved image in unusual ways. This is a fast-paced and light-hearted class that serves as an intro to printmaking. No drawing ability or special skills required. Open to accompanied minors, teens, and adult learners!
