First Redeemer Church is located in Cumming, GA and has served North Atlanta since 1996. Its purpose is to worship God and to help everyone know and follow Jesus Christ. Two weekly worship services feature worship bands as well as a 150-voice choir and 40-piece orchestra. Weekly Bible studies take place each Sunday and various other days throughout the week. Dr. Kathy Koch (“cook”) is the Founder and CEO of Celebrate Kids, Inc., an internationally respected voice on child development and biblical parenting. Author of eight influential books, including 8 Great Smarts and Five to Thrive, she has equipped parents and educators in over 25 countries.
Her engaging, hope-filled approach has been featured in Kirk Cameron’s documentaries, Focus on the Family broadcasts, and Summit Ministries training. With a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Purdue University, Dr. Kathy offers practical, biblically grounded strategies for raising confident, Christ-centered kids in today’s rapidly changing culture.
