July 25, 10AM for glazing and Saggar prep and again at 7PM for the firing event.
Bring your own bisque-fired Raku clay pots (up to 5 pots for Saggar and 5 pots for Raku)
Participants will come to Mis Bee Haven Farm on Saturday Morning to glaze and Saggar prep starting at 10AM. You will return at 7PM for the Raku firing event, well into the night. See the magic of fire and enjoy the evening. If you choose, you can bring a date/significant other (no kids under 16 please). Please bring a lawn chair, beverages, and a light appetizer to share. Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts, closed toed shoes, safety glasses and gloves. The pit firing will occur earlier in the afternoon and these pots should be ready for cleaning during the evening.
$70 for firing
A limited number of bisque Raku pots are available for $25 each for those who choose to join us but are not potters.
