Description

Joanne Bell is the Founder of Woman To Woman With Joanne The Organization, The Magazine and The Talk Show. She is a member of The Junior League of Jackson, Women For Progress of Mississippi, and Mississippi Women In Network. She hosts The Mississippi Legends Ball annually, honoring women who fought during the Civil Rights Movement and women who make and impact in their communities, the Annual Woman To Woman With Joanne’s Annual Empowerment Conference.  Joanne is a member of the Worship Ministry at Pinelake Church Madison's Campus. She has landed numerous acting roles in Soul Damage The Movie (coming soon), an extra in The Help, Girl Trip and the TV show Nashville, and continues to sing at weddings, events, and special occasions. 

In addition, Joanne is an Inspirational Speaker, Author of her first book, “Fear Was My Friend" and she loves sharing stories of Mississippi women by providing a platform through her monthly magazine.

Multiplying Impact

Rankin Career Women (RCW) was developed from my own desire to give back to the community following an event in 2017, when my friend unexpectedly and shockingly took her own life.  She was a wife, mother and career woman, just like me and just like so many of the ladies that attend Rankin Career Women luncheons.  Every other month, we meet for a catered lunch at The Vault Venue in Brandon.  Luncheons include fun door prizes, decorated tables and take-aways for each attendee. There is something about the “power of same”, when we share our stories and connect with each other, without regard to race or economic status.  Sometimes the good story and the hard story are the same story.
