"MORE THAN WHAT I CAME FOR"   Marlys Myers will be presenting at our luncheon.  She has a paralegal background, Broker Associate with Southern Homes Real Estate and founder of Rankin Career Women.  She was recognized in 2023 as one of Mississippi's Top Leading Business Women by Mississippi Business Journal.  Marlys is also the recipient of Heart of Hometown Award, recognized by Hometown Magazine in 2022.

Multiplying Impact

Rankin Career Women (RCW) was developed from my own desire to give back to the community following an event in 2017, when my friend unexpectedly and shockingly took her own life.  She was a wife, mother and career woman, just like me and just like so many of the ladies that attend Rankin Career Women luncheons.  Every other month, we meet for a catered lunch at The Vault Venue in Brandon.  Luncheons include fun door prizes, decorated tables and take-aways for each attendee. There is something about the “power of same”, when we share our stories and connect with each other, without regard to race or economic status.  Sometimes the good story and the hard story are the same story.
