Rapid Chess Arena - Adult Tournament - Unrated
Think you’ve got what it takes to outwit, outplay, and outmaneuver your peers? Join us for an early evening of strategy and competition at The Marketplace in Castro Valley! Castle Chess, in partnership with PlayCV & The Marketplace, is thrilled to invite you to our first ever unranked Adult Chess Tournament, a perfect opportunity for chess enthusiasts of skill levels.
- 📍 Location: The Marketplace, 3295 Castro Valley Blvd
- 🗓 Date: Sunday, April 28
- ⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 💰 Entry Fee: $25+fees per player
- 🎮 For Players 13 Years Old and Up

- Unranked Play: A relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike.
- Limited Spots, ensuring a cozy and engaging experience.
- Family-Friendly: An excellent event for the whole family to enjoy.
♟ Tournament Format:
– 5 Rounds | 15-Minute Clocks
– Touch-move & drop-move rules apply
– 1 point per win, ½ point per tie
– Tiebreakers determined by the Buchholz system
– Final standings decided by the Tournament Director
