Introducing Our Executive Functioning Bootcamp!

Have you noticed your child struggling to start and complete their homework or study for school? Are you worried about how they will adjust to the next school year? We’ve heard from many parents that you’d like a program to help your kids jump-start the new school year. And we listened!

This boot camp is perfect for parents who are worried their child will struggle next year and who want to give them a jump start. 

What You'll Get:

Every session is led by Dr. Morgan Beidleman, the founder and director of REACH Learning Services. She has worked in education for 17 years, holds an M.Ed in Special Education and a Ph.D. in School Psychology, and has written and managed hundreds of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), run social skills groups for children 4-18, counseled youth 12-18, and worked with families to support individuals.

 

Students will learn important skills including:

  • How to backward plan your week and why it works.
  • How to use your energy wisely and when to do certain types of tasks.
  • How to determine what different tools to use for different courses and tests.
  • How to strategize and maximize your study time.
  • How to design your ideal workspace to enhance productivity.
  • How to adjust to a new middle / high school environment

 

Parents will:

  • Learn new ways to directly support your child in school.
  • Receive take-home content and guides to refer back to and implement as needed down the road.
  • Gain a better understanding of executive functioning skills and how to develop/foster them.

BONUS: Supplementary on-demand parent trainings to help parents support their children once the year gets started!

 

Dates/Times:

  • July 11-13, 5-6:30pm: Student sessions
  • July 14, 5-6pm: Parent session
