This month’s Reading the Banned Book Club will once again be led by Edmond teachers who will guide the discussion through the lens of how 1984 is taught in the classroom. Together, we’ll explore the novel’s themes of surveillance, censorship, and authoritarianism, and reflect on why it continues to be challenged—and why it still matters.
