☀️ Seasonal Notice: Due to high summer temperatures, Red Panda Encounters are unavailable during August. Encounters are available in July and resume in September.
Reserve your Red Panda Encounter by submitting the required 50% deposit online.
Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. A separate email with a secure payment link for your remaining balance will be sent after your reservation has been confirmed.
Capron Park Zoo Members: Please enter the email address associated with your membership during checkout. Once your membership has been verified, your member discount will be applied to your remaining balance.
Example:
Non-Member: $200 total → Pay a $100 deposit + $100 remaining balance.
Member: $175 total → Pay a $100 deposit + $75 remaining balance after membership verification.
Please bring your confirmation email when you arrive for your scheduled encounter.
If you do not receive your confirmation email within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate the email, please contact us at least 3 days before your scheduled encounter.
The required 50% deposit is non-refundable, except if Capron Park Zoo cancels the encounter due to severe weather, animal welfare, veterinary care, or other operational needs.
If the remaining balance is not paid at least 3 days before your scheduled encounter, your reservation will be considered cancelled by the guest, and your deposit will be forfeited.
If you do not attend your scheduled encounter (no-show), all payments made are non-refundable.

Red pandas may not be touched.
Guests may have the opportunity to offer a grape using a feeding skewer if the animals choose to participate.
Photography is permitted inside the exhibit only. Photos and videos are not permitted in staff-only or behind-the-scenes areas.
Animal interaction is never guaranteed. Participation is always at the discretion of the animals.
All participants must sign a Liability Waiver. A parent or legal guardian must sign for participants under 18 years of age.
Minimum age: 12 years
Participants ages 12–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Long pants and closed-toe shoes (sneakers or boots) are required.
Capron Park Zoo reserves the right to deny participation if proper attire is not worn.
Please arrive 20 minutes early for check-in and orientation.
