📋 Booking Process

When booking, please select either the Non-Member or Capron Park Zoo Member ticket. Full payment is required at checkout.

Non-Members:
Simply select the Non-Member ticket and complete your purchase.

Capron Park Zoo Members:
To receive the member rate, please enter the member name and email address associated with your membership during checkout.

Please bring your valid Capron Park Zoo membership card on the day of your encounter. Membership will be verified at check-in.

Each participant purchasing a Member ticket must be covered by a valid Capron Park Zoo membership. If a valid membership cannot be verified, the difference between the Member and Non-Member rate must be paid before participation.

Please bring your booking confirmation email with you on the day of your encounter.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate it, please contact us at least 3 days before your scheduled encounter.

 

💳 Cancellation & Refund Policy

All Red Panda Encounter bookings are non-refundable.

If Capron Park Zoo is unable to conduct the encounter due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, animal welfare, veterinary care, or other operational needs, the Zoo may reschedule or cancel the encounter.

If the encounter is canceled by Capron Park Zoo, affected guests will be eligible for a refund.

If you do not attend your scheduled encounter (no-show), all payments are non-refundable.

 

⚠️ Red Panda Encounter Rules

For the safety of our guests, staff, and animals, please follow these rules:

1. Minimum age is 12. Participants ages 12–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

2. Participants must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers or boots. Shorts, skirts, skorts, sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, and other open-toed shoes are not permitted.

3. Please do not wear loose or dangling jewelry during the encounter.

4. Participants may not touch or chase the red pandas.

5. Please avoid sudden movements and loud noises during the encounter.

6. Animal interaction is not guaranteed. The animals always have the choice of whether or not they wish to approach or interact with participants.

7. If the red panda chooses to participate, guests may have the opportunity to offer the red panda a grape using a feeding skewer under staff supervision.

8. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, calmly notify the staff member leading the encounter. Staff will assist you and may end the encounter if necessary.

9. If at any time a staff member determines that the encounter is no longer safe, the encounter will be ended.

10. Photography is permitted within designated exhibit areas only. Photos and videos are not permitted inside buildings, staff-only areas, or behind-the-scenes areas.

11. All participants must sign a Liability Waiver. Participants under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Please arrive 20 minutes early for check-in, waiver completion, and orientation.

 

🦁 Zoo Rules

All Red Panda Encounter participants must also follow Capron Park Zoo's general rules:

• Do not feed any animals unless specifically instructed by Zoo staff as part of the encounter.

• Balloons, balls, toys, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and similar items are not permitted in the Zoo.

• Pets are not permitted in the Zoo.

• Smoking, eating, and drinking are not permitted inside Zoo buildings.

• Do not climb on or cross fences, barriers, or restricted areas.

• Shoes and shirts are required.

Capron Park Zoo reserves the right to end an encounter or require any individual or group that does not follow Zoo rules or staff safety instructions to leave.
