THE BIGHORN Bottle Shop & Wine Bar
114 Main StreetJoin us for two unforgettable evenings celebrating both the holiday season and the remarkable musical journey of one of Anaconda’s own — Reece Connors.
Born and raised in Anaconda, Reece first discovered his passion for music right here at home under the direction of two of Anaconda’s most distinguished musicians: Mrs. Kimberly Lorengo of the Anaconda High School Music Department and the late Mrs. Carol Strizich. Since then, he has gone on to pursue his interests in the performing arts at the University of Notre Dame— one of the nation’s premier institutions for academic and artistic excellence — from where he will graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and Clinical Psychology.
At Notre Dame, Reece has done far more than simply join the student body; he has become one of the university’s standout performers. Reece was honored to be selected as a bass/baritone soloist within the Notre Dame Chorale’s 2023 and 2024 productions of Handel’s Messiah, as well as The Notre Dame Liturgical Choir’s 2024 and 2025 productions of Mozart’s Requiem. Reece made his opera debut as “The Sorcerer” in Notre Dame Opera’s February 2025 production of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneus, before rejoining the ensemble this fall as “Martin” in Bernstein's Candide. Reece is also a devoted cantor, chorister, and student director in the renowned Notre Dame Liturgical Choir, which provides high-caliber choral music every weekend for the University's internationally broadcasted Sunday mass. He is honored to work under the instruction of nationally renowned bass/baritone and pedagogue Dr. Stephen Lancaster.
His musical upbringing with the cello, piano, and even the bagpipes adds extraordinary depth to his musicianship, while his commanding stage presence and heartfelt performances have made him a true standout among his peers.
This December, as Reece returns to his Montana roots for the holidays, he will share his artistry with us during a special Classical Holiday Performance at The Bighorn’s Listening Room.
Tickets go on sale soon — don’t miss your chance to experience this inspiring homecoming performance from one of Anaconda’s brightest talents.
