Blue Grass Drive-In Theater - 2
774 W Mayne StreetSurvival horror and a true-crime drama make for a late night at the Blue Grass Drive-In with our double feature: Resident Evil and Primetime.
Start the night with Resident Evil, the new take on the horror franchise from Weapons director Zach Cregger. Austin Abrams plays Bryan, a medical courier whose delivery to Raccoon City General turns into a night of running for his life when an outbreak tears through the city. It's an original story built for the dark.
Then stay for Primetime, A24's true-crime drama starring Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen, the Dateline newsman who became a household name confronting the men who showed up at a suburban sting house on To Catch a Predator. Director Lance Oppenheim traces how the show came together and turned Hansen into an unlikely TV phenomenon, with Merritt Wever and Skyler Gisondo. It premiered in competition at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month.
We're open Friday - Saturday - Sunday. The ticket booth opens at 6 PM. Movies begin at dusk.
