Description

Resonant Rogues

"The Resonant Rogues’ dark Appalachian folk paints a picture of their lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina and on the road. Anchored by the songwriting duo of Sparrow (banjo, accordion) and Keith Smith (guitar), the duo has traveled the byways and highways of America and crossed the oceans with instruments in tow. From riding freight trains to building their own homestead, the pair are no strangers to blazing unconventional trails. At once rooted and adventurous, each song tells a story of real experiences, friendships, and challenges."

Jerree Small

Folk singer Jerree Small has been mostly known for her work in a pair of bands over the past 15 years. Her most recent solo record, Mobius, dates back to 2004. From 2007 to 2015 she partnered with members of Crew Jones in an acclaimed mashup called Southwire, and since 2008 she has sporadically partnered with Marc Gartman in the acoustic outfit Coyote.

Jason Dea West

Jason Dea West is an American troubadour who sings what he lives and lives what he sings. Wests’ poignant lyrics are brilliantly blended with vintage country, folk and blues, and timely sensibilities. From epic guitar and harmonica instrumentals to humorous song as story, Jason never strays very far from the anarchic punk-folk roots of his beloved former band Barefoot Surrender and his celebrated current band Intuitive Compass.
