A virtual event hosted by Restoration Retreat: A Fortnight Convention - Come hang out with the cast and crew of the Web-series "The Fortnight" for fun, games, panels, workshops and episode screenings!
'The Fortnight' creator, Cory Xenos, wanted to tell a story about a girl, her found family, and the one that turned her world upside down. She wanted to share with the world the people, places, and events that meant something to her in hopes that some of these things may be universal.
The events that brought the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in the creator’s life have been shared in hopes that even just one person out there who came across this series may remember that even on their darkest days the love we feel makes it worth it to keep pushing through. The light will come again. If nothing else, maybe this show would be a distraction in a dark world.
With this series, Cory has reached viewers across the globe! People have felt seen and heard, some for the first time. Cory created this story but the fans created a movement.
The Restoration Retreat is a tangible result of this movement. The Restoration Retreat is a place for anyone who has felt seen and heard via this series. The fans have made this web series a huge success. Some Fortnighters have become each other’s found family. Some have become each other’s support system and we want to provide a place for everyone to come together and celebrate our differences and our shared love for this impactful series. It is a place where we all can be who we truly are.
Representation in all forms matter. We are coming together to create the safest and most inclusive environment for us to celebrate the show and each other. Let’s see how far we can go!
