Joshua House Recovery Ministries invites you to an evening that brings real stories to the surface. The annual Restoring Hope | Rebuilding Lives Gala returns this November, gathering community leaders, businesses, and friends who believe that change is possible and worth investing in.
With over 100 men in recovery across multiple homes in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, Joshua House continues to be a place where men step out of addiction and into something stronger. At the heart of that journey is The Creek, a residential setting where many begin again. From there, men move through recovery, reintegration, and, for some, into leadership.
You may recognize Joshua House from the Abbotsford Airshow. The yellow shirts are hard to miss. Behind them are men learning to show up, contribute, and take pride in something bigger than themselves. It is not just volunteerism. It is formation.
This year’s Gala will feature powerful, firsthand stories of transformation. Men who once lived in chaos now rebuilding families, careers, and purpose. Families who once carried fear now standing in gratitude. These are not polished stories. They are honest ones. And they carry weight.
“As a community, we are closer to addiction than we like to admit,” says Executive Director Jim Heuving. “But we are also closer to hope than we think. At Joshua House, men find the structure, community, and courage to rebuild their lives. Together.”
The evening will include live music, resident testimonies, and opportunities to partner through sponsorships, table hosting, and community engagement.
