Are you a homeschool family looking for an engaging, project-based way to learn more about history? Join the Rhode Island Historical Society on Monday, September 28 at 10am at the Museum of Work & Culture for information about Rhode Island History Day, our state's contest for National History Day. This project-based educational experience allows participants to harness their creativity while improving their research, writing, and presentation skills. As part of Rhode Island History Day, students can work alone or in groups to create an exhibit, documentary, paper, performance, or website, and have the chance to win cash prizes and compete at Nationals.

Parents and interested students can attend the information and to learn more about History Day! For younger learners, museum educators will be on hand to offer a tour of the museum during the session.
