Description

Foundations in Rhythm Skating is where you'll develop essential skate skills to enhance your control and confidence on wheels. While we cover skills like bubbles, strides, stops, turns, pivots, spins, slalom patterns, and more selected at random. Skaters may have the opportunity to express their focus areas to break through the struggle bus they may be on. In this class, the whole group is working on the same skills focus. Each Class will be different and we will not be keeping track. Essentially as a group we go on a guided journey on wheels.

Skate Oregon School

Chickpea started roller skating in May 2020 to cope with the challenges of the pandemic. Since then she has acquired SkateIA Level 1 & 2,  RollRight, SafeSport certified instructor. She offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced group roller skate classes in person and online; Roller Skating Basics, Foundations in Rhythm Skating, Rhythm Skate Choreography, Roll Right learn-to-skate classes and more. Chickpea’s goals are to share the joy of skating, educate on the urban culture of skating, build the skater and instructor community, and to help make skating accessible for as many as possible globally.
