Join RI History Day Coordinator Owen Marshall for an in person workshop at the Cranston Public Library-Sockanosset (CPL) on Tuesday, November 18th at 4:30 pm for students interested in participating in the 2026 National History Day Contest. November's workshop will be titled "Research Skills and Best Practices," where students will receive an overview of helpful historical research tips, including critical reading, utilizing online databases, and accessing finding guides. We will also review library and archive etiquette and best practices for your in-person research.

Registration for this event is free, but is required.
