February's event will be all about Legislative Updates and what's going on in the world of water and policy! After the recent elections, we want you to know what they could mean for clean water and the state of the river. Our Policy Manager, Ryan Carter, will be sharing these updates and talking about how you can help. Located at Confluence in Cramerton, NC, our newest location, the taproom will be open for purchases during the program.

Let's Talk Macros! - Aquatic Macroinvertebrates
April 14 | 6:30PM - 7:30PM | @ The River Room in McAdenville
Did you know that dragonflies begin their lives underwater, and that mayflies do too? Join us to learn about aquatic macroinvertebrates and how we use them as bioindicators to help determine the quality of local waterways. Our Northern Watershed Manager, Grant Buckner, specializes in aquatic macroinvertebrates and will lead this workshop. Walking us through testing techniques, macroinvertebrate identification, how we specifically use macros for testing and more! We will have specimens for you to view and hope to have an opportunity for you to check out some live macros in our classroom. The bar will be open during this event, and participants are welcome to purchase beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available).
