Wastewater Treatment Plant Tour
Friday, April 12 | 10:00am | Gastonia
Join us on this guided tour of Crowders Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)! We'll learn (up close) what happens with our wastewater once it leaves our buildings, travels to the plant and where does it go after. You may be thinking... 'what about the smell?', well...it's not that bad! Touring a WWTP is a great way to better understand the impacts we, as humans, have on our available resources, such as water and how we can help the cycle by processing and reusing what's available.
*Please note that CLOSED TOED SHOES will be required for the tour.
