An Academy Award nominee (Best Animated Feature), Robot Dreams took the world by storm when it was released in 2023. Written and directed by Pablo Berger, the Spanish-French co-production follows an unlikely friendship between a dog and a robot in New York City in 1984. Though the film has no dialogue, it garnered significant praise at its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, and has gone on to win many international awards, including Best Film in the Contrechamp section of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and the European Film Award for Best Animated Feature.

Audiences are taken on a journey of true friendship when Dog, who lives alone in Manhattan, orders a robot friend after seeing a TV advertisement. Their kinship is immediate, their summer is filled with fun...but circumstances beyond their control take them on a rollercoaster of life lessons that everyone can relate to.
