Roger Williams 99th Commemorative Birthday Concert (Sinfonietta)

Sunday, October 1 |  2:00 pm (non-ticketed, free concert: doors open at 1:30pm)
Concordia Sinfonietta
Jeff Held, conductor
Bryan Pezzone, piano

Roger Williams (1924-2011), pianist for nine American presidents and Orange County resident, is remembered for his American Songbook recordings, including "Autumn Leaves" in 1955, which is the only instrumental to reach #1 on the Billboard popular music charts. The Sinfonietta partners with the Richard Nixon Library to present a special concert of musical arrangements, shared exclusively by the Roger Williams estate, for this concert kicking off the Roger Williams Centennial, which will be joined by numerous presidential libraries in the coming year.

Guest artist Bryan Pezzone, one of Southern California's finest crossover pianists, will serve as piano soloist for the concert

Location: Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum (Yorba Linda)

Tickets: FREE - no tickets, first-come first served. Arrive early to ensure seating.
