Join us for a special Rooftop Shabbat in partnership with the Korean American Federation, highlighting cultural exchange, shared traditions, and community connection.

This evening will bring our communities together through Shabbat, music, storytelling, and fellowship in a warm and welcoming setting. A featured highlight of the evening will be a performance by a choir from the Korean American community and our East Side Volunteer Choir.

 

Evening Schedule

5:00 PM – Community Picnic
6:00 PM – Rooftop Shabbat Service with Rabbi Joel Nickerson, Rabbi Leah Lewis, and Cantor Aliya Stuart

About the Korean American Federation

Founded in 1962, the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles has a mission to represent and empower the Korean American community of Los Angeles County. KAFLA aims to protect and advocate for the rights and interests of Korean Americans, foster amicable relations and cultural exchange between Korea and the U.S., and promote interaction and understanding between the Korean American and other ethnic communities.
