Share Rooted is a not for profit Women’s mountain bike festival. Proceeds are donated to local non-profits that advocate and maintain our local trail systems in western New York and northwest Pennsylvania.

Join us for our third year of Rooted July 22-24 at Loud Performance bike shop and trail system for a weekend of riding, skill building, yoga, shopping and camping with 100+ other women in a safe, confidence building environment! Stay tuned for an email when clinic tickets go on sale.
Events + Activities included with your $75 weekend pass: Bike Suspension presentation on Friday morning to help you dial in your bike’s setup for the weekend, moonlit bike ride Friday night, 30 minute warm up yoga before riding Saturday morning, meditation trail hike with Ample Movement, happy hour drinks (beer+wine) Friday and Saturday provided by Mazza, and a World Ride movie night Saturday featuring short films of women adventuring. There will also be free safety and mechanical clinics among other fun that the vendors and sponsors offer throughout the weekend. You will also receive a swag bag and have access to a cold shower, bike wash and deluxe toilets all weekend. Hydration will be provided by SkratchLabs. Event tees can be purchased on Saturday at the festival.
This event is for women only, we do have supportive men helping us run booths and some clinics, but they will leave the festival grounds after they are done working. FTW and non-binary folks who are comfortable in a femme setting are welcome and encouraged to join us at Rooted.
With the purchase of a weekend pass you receive free parking and weekend camping. You are invited to come set up camp as early as noon on Thursday, July 21st where you can then join us for the Loud Performance shop ride at 6pm. This ride isn’t an official Rooted event and will have men, women and children of all skill levels present. Its a fantastic opportunity to explore the trails with local riders leading the way.
Note: camping is primitive in an open field and along a tree line. There is plenty of room to bring extra easy up tents for your camping space and elaborate setups are welcome and the best one will possibly be rewarded. Camping is primitive, but the festival bathrooms are deluxe and will be available all weekend.
You may bring travel trailers, tents or sleep in your car. The festival grounds are a very safe place, but we recommend leaving valuables at home or locked up, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen goods. We ask that you tear down camp any time on Sunday the 24th.
There will be some food and beverage vendors but you are also welcome to bring your own to the event. Happy hour beer and wine will be provided at no cost to you by the generous support of Mazza Winery on Friday and Saturday evenings.
If you’d like to rent a bike, we recommend contacting Loud Performance (716-386-1171) ASAP to secure a bike. GOATI Edinboro also has a selection of bikes for rent. If you strike out with these options, send an email to hello@rootedmtbfest.com and we will see if we can source a bike for you to rent.
Please leave pets, children and male partners and friends at home. You are going to be having too much fun to give them the attention they need. Enjoy this “you time” with the girls to the fullest!
You must purchase a weekend pass in order to attend any of the free or additional cost Rooted events. There are no refunds allowed but you may transfer your ticket to another participant.
We will use a waitlist after tickets sell out. If you need to transfer your ticket, please email us at hello@rootedmtbfest.com and we can offer your ticket to our waitlist if you need help selling it. This does not guarantee a transfer refund for you. If we are unable to sell it, you will not get a refund. Transfers must be completed before July 20th, and we will need to know the new ticket holder’s name and details by that time.
This is a rain or shine event. We are able to pivot a bit to still have a great event even if it happens to rain.
