Rosemaling Coast to Coast, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized to celebrate the art of Norwegian rosemaling through a national organization that supports and enriches the artistic activities of the individual. Members study, paint, teach, and promote the love of rosemaling. The skillset is broad, from beginners to highly-skilled, award-winning artists. Formed in 2016, the organization began holding biennial conventions to promote, teach and appreciate the folk art of rosemaling. Description
Class description: Learn to paint multi colored Glass Christmas Balls with stroke work in Valdres, Os, Trondelag, and Rogaland Styles. Artists will be painting designs free hand on the ornament.
This class has 2 sessions. Class will run consecutively for 2 days, Wednesday November 19 and Thursday November 20, 2025 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM central time
Class level: Intermediate
Medium being used : Oil or Acrylic paint specifically formulated for Glass. Louise will demonstrate in Oil Paint.
Other mediums allowed: Yes as long as it is formulated for glass.
Surface: 2.5 Inch glass balls (or 3.1 Inch) in colors such as White, Gold, Silver or bright colors in Red, Blue, and Green etc. Can be found at many on-line and craft stores.

Note about supplies: The class fee does not include the cost of supplies. This is the responsibility of the student.
Instructor: Louise Bath, VGM
Instructor biography: Louise has been teaching at a local SON Lodge since 2010 and since achieving a VGM in 2017, she has taught for Vesterheim, INRA, CRA and WRA.
Location: This is an online class hosted on Zoom. All technical requirements needed to join the class are the responsibility of the student. RCC virtual classes will be recorded. All classes are listed in the Central time zone.
