Join us on Wednesday 8 March for the inaugural "Roundtable with the Program Manager".  Most of the Tech Grove customers (Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy,, and Space Force) have program or product managers that are responsible for driving innovation and solutions to our soldiers.  We want to give YOU the opportunity to meet and dialogue directly with these key individuals.  

 

We are kicking off the series with Colonel Nicholas Kioutas from the Synthetic Environment (SE) Program office of the Army's Program Executive Office Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).  The SE program provides relevant integrated modeling and simulation capabilities to achieve Army readiness. It converges virtual, constructive, and gaming products into one organizational structure to ensure maximum benefits are derived from their blended capabilities in concert with live training. PM SE enables tough, realistic training through the replication of the uncertainty, stress, and complexity found in today’s evolving operational environment. PM SE provides commanders the ability to train the full range of military operations within current or projected training space in large-scale home station exercises. PM SE is comprised of four product offices: One World Terrain (OWT), Common Synthetic Environment (CSE), Medical Simulation (MedSim), and Constructive Simulation Support (CSS).

The Central Florida Tech Grove is a hub for accelerating collaboration and innovation in defense modeling, simulation, training, and human performance.  Tech Grove is located in the Central Florida Research Park in Orlando, Florida which is the epicenter of the nation's largest cluster of government, industry, academic, and industry organizations developing and delivering training and simulation products for our nation's military. Tech Grove was established in 2020 through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and the University of Central Florida Research Foundation.  Eight other Department of Defense entities are Tech Grove members: US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), US Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation (AFAMS), US Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), US Army Simulation & Training Technology Center (STTC), US Army Futures Command Synthetic Training Environment Cross-Functional Team (STE CFT), Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and the Office of Naval Research through the NavalX Central Florida Tech Bridge.
