Description
You’re invited to the ball—and a whole lot of trouble!
Roo Theatre Company presents Cinderella the Panto, a magical, mischievous adventure bursting with big laughs, outrageous characters and fabulous family fun!
Cinderella dreams of a life beyond the demands of her wicked stepmother, Lady Devilia, and her gloriously dreadful stepsisters, Beryl and Cheryl. With a royal ball on the horizon, everyone is determined to make an impression—although the sisters’ chances of charming a prince are looking decidedly questionable!
Luckily, lovable Buttons is ready to lend a hand, and a little help from a Fairy Godmother could change everything. But with mistaken identities, outrageous flirting, messy mishaps and a very important midnight deadline, happily ever after won’t come easily!
Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of pantomime, where the characters draw you into the action and your cheers, boos and warnings are all part of the fun. Whether you’re helping our heroes or giving the villains a piece of your mind, there’s plenty of opportunity to make yourself heard!
The script serves up a cheeky twist on the classic fairy tale, combining playful banter, slapstick silliness and jokes for different generations to enjoy together. From the stepsisters’ disastrous antics to Buttons’ audience exchanges, expect a show with plenty of heart beneath all the hilarity.
Join us at Roo Theatre Company, on the corner of Addison and Wentworth Streets in beautiful Shellharbour Village, for a fairy-tale outing with family and friends.
Book your tickets, practise your loudest “Oh, no it isn’t!” and get ready for a ball you won’t forget!
