The Open Door, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Pittsburgh that provides low barrier housing and supportive services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Our mission is to work with those we serve to help them find and maintain housing, learn life skills to flourish independently, and gain financial literacy. Our model is "housing first, harm reduction" which means we believe in meeting our participants where they are at in their life and helping them get to where they want to be, regardless of any barriers they have or currently face.

Join us for Run Amok 2025, our annual fundraiser and community celebration, as we close out the summer with sunshine, solidarity, and fun! Hosted at the Schenley Park Visitors Center (101 Panther Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15213), this year's event promises a joyful afternoon filled with connection, purpose, and community pride.
Enjoy a casual fun run/walk with a community scavenger hunt, outdoor games, a health and resource fair, raffle prizes, music, and more—all while supporting The Open Door’s mission to provide low-barrier housing and harm reduction services to individuals living with HIV across Southwestern Pennsylvania.
