Join our fabulous new Batter and Mac Pastry Chef and Bread Expert Extraordinaire, Chef Maddie, for an evening of Learning and Laughs. In this class, Chef Maddie will teach you the fundamentals of sourdough and take you on a culinary journey through starter, proofing, shaping and baking and other materials needed to create outside of class.
You will leave the class with your own dehydrated starter, proofing basket and towel and instructions on how to care for your starter as you continue your sourdough adventure at home.
Chef Maddie is a Graduate from the Culinary Institute of America and former Pastry Chef for Ardent Milwaukee. With a lifelong passion for baking, she grew up in the kitchen along side her Grandma, where she first fell in love with the craft. Maddie specializes in danish, sourdough, focaccia and a myriad of other tasty treats and breads. She often claims that "baking isn't what I do, it's who I am."
