In this classic tale, a young man (Harold Lloyd) ventures to New York City to support his sweetheart (Mildred Davis), only to find the city's challenges daunting. Desperate for money, he concocts a risky scheme with his friend (Bill Strother), known as the "human fly." When things go awry, he must summon all his courage to pull off a daring stunt alone.
