Join TNC members and guests as we kick-off SAtoSA Advocacy Week with a special keynote speaker, Natalie Roetzel who serves as Senior Program Director for Alliance for Justice's Bolder Advocacy program, where she works with nonprofit organizations to boost their advocacy capacity and understanding of state and federal nonprofit advocacy rules.
Too often, nonprofits hesitate to speak up, believing advocacy is too risky or that their voices won't make a difference.
This keynote makes the case for nonprofit advocacy and demonstrates why nonprofits can and should use their voices to advance their missions. It will explore the meaningful impact nonprofit advocates have had on public policy in San Antonio and beyond. It will also demystify the rules that govern nonprofit advocacy and lobbying, so your organization can confidently and effectively engage in the critical public policy debates that shape the world we live in.
